Vance the Vacuum Cleaner

(Dick Van Dyke)
What’s that sound in the next room
It fills you full of fear
What’s that sound in the next room
It seems to be coming near
You’d better get up on some furniture
Cause you’ve heard that thing before
I roll in with somebody pushing me
And I make a mighty roar
I’m Vance the Vacuum Cleaner!
I’m Vance the Vacuum Cleaner!

I try my best to clean the floor
I take whatever’s lying there
I store it in my little bag
And then they take it who knows where
Now some kids are afraid of me
But they have nothing to fear
I’d never suck up anybody
Or make them disappear, not
Vance the Vacuum Cleaner!
I’m Vance the Vacuum Cleaner!

I’m proud to be a vacuum cleaner
It’s a noble profession
And if you’d like to learn how to do it
I’ll glady give you a lesson

But I have just one problem
And I’ll tell you if I must
My little secret is..
I’m allergic to dust!
ACHOOO!
